Child-protection locks are useful when you have small children. This feature will prevent them from opening the rear doors using the door handles or release buttons.
Model S child protection lock
Use the touchscreen to turn child protection locks on or off. Go to Touch Controls > Settings > Vehicle > Child Protection Lock.
Model X child protection lock
Use the touchscreen, Controls > Vehicle > Child Protection Lock, to turn on the child protection locks on your Tesla Model X.
Model 3 child protection lock
On the touchscreen, go to Controls > Locks > Child Lock.
